Italy is very special to me, I lived there for several months during college, and my husband and I got married and honeymooned there! It's Friday Finds time! I am uncharacteristically way ahead of schedule with my holiday shopping this year! It's time to think about wrapping them and sending them off to the recipients! How cute are these gift tags by Stationary Boutique? Take a look around her store, she has many more paper goods, such as calendars and note cards. I just like her style!

There's No Place Like Home...

My sister, my mom, and I went to see 'Wicked' (which, by the way, is FANTASTIC - you MUST see it if you have the opportunity!). My sister is obsessed with the color red, and I suggested that she get some red shoes to wear that night. The day before, I asked if she had, and she said no. Then after getting ready to go, she came down wearing THESE to surprise me! Complete with Wicked Witch socks! When I said red shoes, I didn't think she'd find replicas of the Wizard of OZ shoes!

Overland Park Arboretum

I have a feeling our colorful, nice weather weekends are numbered, so we decided to check out the Overland Park Arboretum this weekend before all of the beautiful colors are gone. I had never been...this place is a photographer's haven! Trees, walkways, installation art, streams and waterfalls...it's beautiful!

After the Arboretum, we headed up to Shawnee Mission Park, to catch some of the colors there too!
