Here is the newest addition to my ever-changing fireplace mantel!  I received this sign as a Christmas gift.  I discovered it while searching around Etsy one day.  I think they are good rules a household should follow, don't you?

I'm not gonna lie...as 'commercial' as it is, Valentine's Day is a favorite of mine! Maybe it's all the pink...or the sweets...

I saw some cookies on Pinterest, and I HAD to give them a try! Here are the results!

I took just a basic sugar cookie recipe, divided it into four, then added food coloring to each mini batch of dough.

I couldn't let the little bits of leftover dough go to waste, so I mashed it all together and got a little crazy!

Rain, Rain...

We are FINALLY supposed to get a little snow here in KC. I'm happy about that. For now. Ask me after I have to drive to and from work in it! ;)

Camera Bags. My Newest Obsession.

Thanks to my photographer father, I have become obsessed with finding the 'perfect' camera bag! As I have discovered there is no ONE perfect bag, there are MANY perfect bags! See, it really depends on the situation...right?? :)

Here is my latest bag, the Kelly Moore Classic bag! I LOOOOVE it. What I love, is that it holds a lot of gear, but it is also pretty and 'purse'-like. There are some situations where you don't want to scream 'Hey, look at me! I'm a photographer!'. Instead, it calmly informs that you've got some serious style!

It's got a fancy dust cover for when it's not in use.

Look at all of that room inside! These are my standard lenses that are always with me on a shoot, and I have no problem fitting them inside! I also love the slim profile of this bag. Who wants to feel like they are carrying bulky square luggage while walking around?? Not this girl!
