Friday Finds

I like to relate whatever I'm featuring in Friday Finds to some aspect of my life. So here's how I chose this week's theme. I was sitting at my computer thinking about what to choose, when I thought 'Man I'm hungry. I could really go for some sushi!' Sushi is absolutely one of my favorite foods. I could eat it every day. So I looked up all things sushi on Etsy, and voila! My pick for this week's Friday Finds.
I went straight for this listing immediately! Etsy seller Cornstarch sells these ADORABLE plush sushi rolls! I am in love with these. If my bulldogs didn't destroy everything plush, they would have a whole 'plate' full of these! They would make a hip baby gift, or just a fun conversation piece for the sushi freak you know! Seeing these definitely made me smile! She also offers to custom make your favorite type of sushi roll if you don't see it listed in her shop.

California Roll....Yum, one of my favorites!

And you can't forget the wasabi and ginger!

"Transform" by Zack Arias

I came across this video post through another photographer's blog.  It looked interesting to me and the blogger said it was inspirational.  So I watched it.  I'm not going to say much about it, not because there isn't a lot to say.  Believe me there is.  I want everyone who views this video through my blog to decide for themselves what it means to them.  The guy that shot it is Zack Arias, an Atlanta-based photographer.  So, while it was geared to speak to photographers, I believe that it could mean something to designers as a whole.  I have more than one design side to me.  I'm a photographer and an architect, and this video meant something to me in both of my worlds.  So, please enjoy and relate it to your own world(s)...

**Since I can't seem to get the sound to work on this post, as it's my first time embedding a video, here is a link to his blog post with the video on it.  Usually the visual is more important to me, but this time the sound is just as important!
