Time Off With The Family

I took a trip to Iowa to visit my family for the week. My 4-year-old nephew was there also in town, from Florida. So, we've been seeing a lot of farm animals at the Children's Zoo, ducks and swans at the park, etc...fun times!

Scott Kelby's Worldwide Photowalk

This past Saturday I participated in Scott Kelby's Worldwide Photowalk, where 30,000 photographers in cities around the world all went and shot on the same day. The Kansas City leg was held at the Country Club Plaza. It was beautiful weather, and we had a good time walking the plaza for a couple of hours. All participants choose one of their photos to upload to add to the photowalk collection. The photo above is the one I chose.

That's One Bright Car!

Olathe, Kansas - This pretty bright yellow car belongs to a friend of my husband's. We did his shoot while he was out of the country on business, so my husband got to drive it to and from the shoot. Which made him want one. I firmly, but sweetly, said 'no'! It was a fun shoot though! I love pretty cars!
