Check out these two Features!

Here are a couple of more features for erin garrison design. First, is a beautiful Treasury done by vilscoxdesign (please check out her shop, http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5695473 ). Here's a link to her treasury, stop by and leave her a comment! It will be up until Sunday.

Second, Crissy at IndieBizChicks.com wrote a great article on how to boost sales for Father's Day on the Storque. You can read that here:

And, finally, for your viewing pleasure, here are my latest 2 creations, now on sale at my shop! Enjoy, and have a safe and fun Memorial Day weekend!

Urban Photo Safari 2008

We participated in something called the Urban Photo Safari in Kansas City this past weekend. Basically they give you a map, and you just wander around shooting whatever strikes you for four hours. It was a lot of fun, and I'll be back next year! If you are in the Kansas City area, and like to take pictures, amateur or professional, it doesn't matter, I highly recommend you check it out next year! Here is the Flickr group where, on Friday, you can see everyone's results!

Trying New Things!

I've been using Photoshop for a long time now, but just for basic photo retouching and such. I've been seeing all of these cool techniques out there that have been done with Photoshop, and for as long as I've been using the program, I only know a tiny little bit of what it can do! So, I've decided to start experimeting with a couple of different techniques. I was reading a photo magazine the other day, and they had infrared photography in it. Well, I don't really want to buy an expensive piece of equipment or risk ruining my camera by altering it just for a couple of shots, so I looked up how to do it in Photoshop, and here are a couple of results for my 1st attempt...
